Merit Figure Craft

Merit Figure Craft Vintage 1950s Construction Building Toy for Kids. A colourful and fun construction type game, made for Merit by J & L Randall Ltd, Potters Bar, England, and dating to the 1950s. Called Figure Craft, the cardboard tube contains around 200 bright neon plastic pieces, in assorted geometric shapes, with slotted sides which fit together satisfyingly when pushed into place. Recommended age is for 3 years upwards. The cardboard tube has metal lids top and bottom, and shows signs of wear with a few scuffs and surface tears, but is still intact and fully usable. It measures 22.5 cm/8.75" high, and the set weighs 241 gms - estimated packaged weight is 500 gms.
